The WordOut Channel’s mission is to relay information for the community, from the community.

Emma Yaaka is the Host and Director of the WordOut Channel. He is a healthcare professional from Uganda who resettled in Chicago in 2017 and is both an advocate for and a part of the refugee community.

The intent of this website is solely to distribute information, encourage the use of community resources, and inspire others to help. The project is completely voluntary, with no profit whatsoever.
